She was relieved when she learned that her husband had committed suicide. He probably did the best thing for himself and his family, she said. "I have no regrets about what happened," she said. "People like him can't be helped, and they should be taken far away from the general public."

While I agree with this statement, my mouth is hanging open with disbelief that anyone could say that of their spouse.

She's come to terms with it. I'm glad she didn't defend him. Good for her.
