Good morning.

After Webb's aide was arrested carrying Webb's gun, it occurred to me that Congress regularly flaunts the very rules they establish. There are indeed two Americas, but not the one John Edwards envisions. It's becoming a class system.

Patrick Kennedy (D): Drunk driving on Capitol grounds

Cynthia McKinney (D): Hitting a policeman

James Webb (D): Carries a loaded revolver into Congress

Can't Remember Name (R): Smokes in his Congressional office

Bill Clinton(D): Sex with a subordinate after he signs legislation prohibiting sex with workplace subordinates

Congress doesn't care if Social Security is fixed because they don't pay Social Security and their pensions are more than comfortable.

The Democrat Congress doesn't care if the nation suffers financially and medically with nationalized healthcare because they have private insurance and will always keep it. We should get them to pledge a Healthcare Pledge that says they will live with whatever legislation they pass with regard to healthcare.

Congressmen should be REQUIRED to obey all the laws they pass for the rest of us.......and have the same access to health care plans rather than the exclusive one they now automatically have.

It used to be that a retiring Congressman could keep any left over campaign funds for himself, but that was changed...don't remember the year. My question: What DOES now happen to those funds?

That's a good summary Peach...wonder how long this Webb story will go on...or maybe, more likely...what'll be the next story about him and his highhandedness to appear?
