if Rudy is taken down, just wait until the Hillary op research firm turns its attention to Thompson. He was linked to a whole stable of younger babes between his first marriage and his second. I am sure some of them have some stories to tell.

No, I didn’t mean Bella’s accomplishments :-)

From the rumors I read there was a big one going around about his divorce and why it happened at the time. Hopefully its just a rumor. It makes Rudy look like an angel!

The operative word, of course, is between. Some politicians seem terminally incapable of waiting until they're divorced to run around on their spouse. Not to mention any names...

Bush made a similar statement when his nemesis Molly Ivins died. Sheesh, you people are desperate.

Let’s all have a beer”.

A LOT of beer! Because who knows, Jimmah could croak anytime . . . .

I meant to imply that Pissant’s obsession with Rudy borders on, let’s say, overly personal???

No class at all. Pathetic, and embarrassing.

And who told you this rumor?

he has obviously found the Rudy archives at nyc.gov, and is data mining them.

Which is a good thing. FReepers did this kind of stuff to the former Governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton. They did it to former Vice President, Al Gore. It is what Free Republic is about - exposing liberals.

The emergence of a liberal Republican presidential candidate who is also a celebrity (heck, Oprah Winfrey even named him "America's Mayor") does not change the mission of or the activities on this site. If you don't like it, then leave.

When you stop sliding down that slippery slope let me know!

You'll be the first to know, because at the bottom, he'll be landing on your head.

The problem may be this; Rudy sees NYC as the ultimate peak of American culture, while many of us see NYC as an example of what happens when you bring your failed old world mentality along with you.
NYC is not an “American” dream, Rudy, NYC is just another damned European nightmare!
“Huddled masses yearning to be free” my ASS! Y’all are not even qualified to discuss “freedom”, Rudy!

the main point I am trying to make to these folks is:

When you encourage and “enable” this kind of stuff against someone you don’t like, it legitimizes it. And then later when it comes around to take down someone you do like, its too late at that point to call it “dirty politics”.

On one of the Fred Thompson threads somebody did almost the same thing about his endorsement of McLame back in ‘99/00. I DON’T support Rudy but, c’mon it was lame to do it to FT and it’s lame to do it to Rudy.

Articles about previous issue stances, legislation, votes, constitutional infringements. That’s fair game in my book, not this stuff.

I read it. But like I said its just a rumor. No big deal. Unless there is truth to it. The Clintons can’t use it.

Yes, Bush is the gentleman. The differences in being polite and being an admirer are very, very distinct.

Rudy agreed with the old hag.
