PHOTO: Double Rainbow On Ronald Reagan's Birthplace On Election Eve 1980

Check out this INCREDIBLE photo of a rare double Rainbow in the birthplace of Ronald Reagan---Tampico, IL. It is even more incredible when you realize that the top part of the building where the rainbow appears to end is where Ronald Reagan was born in 1911. Even more incredible is that this photo was taken on Election Eve 1980 at about 4 P.M..

I first read about this in the Edmund Morris bio "Dutch." Since part of this was fictionalized, I figured this might be fiction as well. I investigated on the Web and much to my very pleasant surprise, this actually happened and was photographed. Talk about good omens!

This photo looks really eerie especially considering where the rainbow ends up and when it was taken.

Here is a much clearer version of that photo. You can see the rainbow much more sharply. That is definitely Ronald Reagan's EXACT birthplace it appears to be ending on.

I took this photo of a double rainbow from my yard in December and I'd like to announce my candidacy.

You were born in a tree? Anyway, we don’t usually see where a rainbow appears to be ending (or beginning) since they are usually far off in the distance. With the Reagan Rainbow we see quite clearly and closeup where it is coming from-—his EXACT birthplace. Plus it was on Election Eve 1980. AMAZING!!!

Double rainbows are really cool to see. They are rather common in Oklahoma ... but I never tire of seeing them.

But THIS double rainbow is the most unusual of them all considering whose birthplace it landed on and when it happened.

I remember what I was doing on election Eve 1980. I was taking a Public Speaking class in college and I was at the library preparing my anti-SALT II speech to be delivered on election day in my Speech class.
