Aren’t IUDs put in/out by a doctor?

In case of emergency (car breakdown), self extraction is required.
CNN Nancy Grace show is claiming that a possible trigger to the Lexus back pack bomb....detenator is possibly an IUD device,
The victem was of the hotel of the Luxor and so we all say mob/debt.
But how ODD it is on the news that the trigger was an IUD.
How common are these removable uterine devices?
Got to have some DNA on the trigger, ya think.
No one is letting out the identity of the victem.
funny no camara, could be family vs. family issue....
So I would if needed one oar/or prescribed one want to know where my IUD was...could have been murder?
