Ubuntu LINUX is enough to make anybody forget about Bill Gates and Microsoft.

Actually, the process of installing Ubuntu and getting all my hardware to work on my Dell laptop gave me a new appreciation for my Windows XP.

However, though I dumped Ubuntu, I am now using Mepis 6.5 and loving it.

I’ve had easier times installing Ubuntu on several computers than I normally experience with XP. But the things which really make Ubuntu are the update and Synaptic managers. That’s so far above Windows it’s not worth talking about.
