She’ll get off and this kind of behavior will only enable her to commit more serious offenses.

This is a non-story. As governor, of course he will give serious consideration to any petitions she might submit. He would do the same for any citizen.

The headline would make you think he's taken special interest in the case, until you get to this part of the article:
"The governor will certainly pay attention to it and act accordingly," McLear said. "He will treat it seriously, like we do all other requests for his help."

No. I read the story. Every request from a citizen gets serious consideration. Besides, just because it gets considered, it doesn’t mean he will grant her petition.

The media's poised for a fair amount of gnashing of teeth if he DOES pardon her. They'll remind us that Arnold also ran over his own dog. It won't be pretty.

He best not or it will confirm what many people suspect happens anyway: That the rich are allowed to play by a different set of rules.
I really have no care about Paris, but she already got a slap on the wrist on her initial sentence and then she violated her probation TWICE.

Knowing how immoral Paris seems to be she might like a romp with Bubba Ann.
This gal certainly will not have to worry about getting pregnant, tongue in check, so to speak.
