I do not understand why banks have not taken their employess and put them behind bulletproof glass, and all transactions done thru a sliding drawer. Convenience stores and gas-marts have done this for years.......

I don’t know why 15 bank employees didn’t pull out a gun and turn the perps into swiss cheese upon entry? That would be the ideal situation.

put them behind bulletproof glass - In lots of banks in Europe you get into the bank by walking into a telephone booth type compartment large enough for one to get into the bank, when one door closes there is a 2 second delay then the other door opens ; you rob the bank, you can't get out.

I agree with your view especially in the Bessemer Alabama area. One other point a customer is reported to have pulled a gun and held the perp briefly but he should have got him when he pulled the gun. That is all I learne dfrom a Birmingham News Blog.
