25 years ago at 3 in the morning I did the same thing that the truck did. Turn right on a red. A bike crossing at the sidewalk t-boned the side of my car folded his bike in three pieces, took off my mirror and he ended on the ground over the top of the car. The police showed up and he was ticketed as he did not have right of way off the sidewalk. If he had been in the bike lane different story. Who got the citation here???
