Bruce Willis Tells Hollywood To Shut Up

You gotta love Bruce Willis. He is an awesome actor, and has a good head on his shoulders. Unlike the majority in hollywood:

BRUCE WILLIS is fed up with listening to outspoken actors - and believes their opinion shouldn't mean "jack s**t" to the general public. The Die Hard star understands some of his colleagues want to do good for various causes, but wishes others would keep their thoughts to themselves. He says, "I don't think my opinion means jack s**t, because I'm an actor. "Why do actors think their opinions mean more because you act? You just caught a break as an actor. There are hundreds - thousands - of actors who are just as good as I am, and probably better. "Have you heard anything useful come out of an actor's mouth lately?" He adds, "Although I liked George Clooney's documentary on Darfur."

In response to a discussion on movie site Ain’t It Cool News about Die Hard 4’s supposed PG-13 rating, Bruce Willis logged in and joined the chat under the name “Walter B.”

[...]Just as funny were the comments of the non-believers — specifically a guy named “Moriarty” — who couldn’t buy into the fact that the star was posting on their board.

Finally Willis came up with a solution:

Willis: “I realized how we can solve this conundrum quite easily. You all live in a digital world. someone must have a Mac with iChat camera ability. Send me your biggest doubter, who has iChat/video ability, and have them call ( i will give that person my iChat address, and they will see me talking to them. I doubt if there is a way to fake that. let’s see…. thanks bw and what is a black box?”

We’re talking about a segment of our population who has received their fame either by directing, acting or singing. Those of which who actually received an advanced education, did so in subjects related to their art. Their teachers and mentors had similar educations and influences. Few, if any, studied history, political science, any sciences for that matter, or ever even had a course in logic. Their mentors and teachers could only get a job in the arts or in teaching the arts. These are also the only kinds of jobs Marxists can obtain. Since the odds of finding a sustainable living from pursuing this kind of degree is miniscule, one has to wonder about the sanity of anyone that pursues this type of work.
