Thats true. I think the judge ruled that since the customer had thrown it away it meant it was no longer her property. I’m a little fuzzy on the details.
nine maxed out credit cards and 8500 in debt, my guess is that with money managing skils like this, she’d be worse off than before in a a rather short time.
