AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2253) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | May 24, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 05/24/2007 4:52:27 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

The Communists in the House voted to institute what essentially amounts to price controls on gasoline. Sadly, over 50 Republicans also voted for the measure. If it were to survive the Senate, it would surely be vetoed.

The Communists are also considering to allow certain legislation with a sunset date of November 1, 2007, to lapse. That legislation prohibits states from taxing Internet access.

And the Navy is flexing its muscles off the shores of Iran, what with two aircraft carriers and troop ships carrying 17,000 Marines staging unnannounced exercises in the Red Sea.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

My turkeys come in the front door when it is open and just squat down and chirp at me, Tom lets me pick him up with no problem, the gal backs off and will no let me touch her.

Good afternoon.

No over work here, either. When I mowed it was on a rider. I love it. Looks like I worked , but didn't.

I’ll bet that was fun watching. I love watching hummingbirds. I have 4 feeders, but they usually go after only one. I need to fill one again. When I fill one, I empty the those with the syrup and refill, just in case the syrup spoils.

I Germany I used to get the biggest kick out of some birds. When the oak berries fermented, those birds would go after them like gangbuster and get drunker’n skunks. They would wobble all over the roads and streets. The drivers were very careful not to hit any of them. In fact we’d just park and watch their sheenanigans.

Lysie...that must have been some sight, a hummingbird riding your water wheel, sure would have put a big smile on my face. I love watching the birds at the bird feeders especially the cardinals. So pretty.

I helped mow yesterday...but we have a little yard..so it didn’t take long. I would rather work outside than inside..always have. That’s why I need to be cleaning this house instead of on the computer..LOL.

I have been trying to read some of the articles and comments on the news side.....some folks sure have short memories. Before the last election, everyone was warned what a Congress run by Nancy P. and Harry D.....would mean!!

It is gut wrenching to read what some say is going to be in the Immigration Bill. I read that illegals will be able to go to any college and not have to pay out-of-state costs...why is that? Who wrote this Immigration Bill? The illegals!!!

I think I have had a few of drunker than skunks around here, too, and I mean the winged ones.

Just came in from working outside. A ruby throated Humming bird took a shower while I was watering with the hose.
It was pretty cute to watch.
Off to the shower! I’m a mess.

Awwwww. We have two feeders because the little birds fight all day long if there is only one out for them to feed from. So far this year we’ve only seen one :(

Wow~~Toby, that is some job, mowing all those acres. I think your neighbors are lucky to have you. I have wonderful neighbors that are in their 80’s, still mowing their own yard and putting out a small garden every year, but still gardening!! They are democrats but I still love them. ~~~~Nobody is Perfect~~~~

I promise to NOT post such depressing news about immigration in the future, if possible....I am all for legal immigration...our nation was built on it.

Did you hear that Sheila Jackson Lee made another stupid statement? She was questioning Monica Gooding about the alleged conspiracy of firing those 8 US attorneys. She started off with this statement:
Rep. Jackson Lee also caused a few observers to scratch their heads when she opened her questioning of Goodling this way: “Allow me just to simply begin a series of questions, Ms. Goodling, and I would ask that they — your answers — be as cryptic and as brief as possible, however truthful, because we do have a shortened period of time.”

“Cryptic?” whispered one reporter. “Did she say cryptic? I think she did.”

Indeed she did. But Goodling did not follow Rep. Jackson Lee’s directions. In fact, her answers were quite clear and direct.

Now if President Bush made that kind of mistake, it would be all over the news. For the rest of the article, click here. Democrats Face the Monica Question

Arghhh. I just read another article about the hearing into the firing of the 8 US attorneys. The anti-Christian sentiment in this country is really starting to rear its ugly head.
Goodling, who resigned last month as the Justice Department's liaison to the White House, played the misunderstood ingenue, a 33-year-old graduate of a Christian-affiliated law school whose clout and role in the dismissals were said to have been greatly overstated.

Despite her once lofty title, she testified, "I did not hold the keys to the kingdom." She recalled that she never spoke, let alone plotted, with White House power players such as chief political adviser Karl Rove or former counsel Harriet Miers.

"The person that I read about on the Internet and in the newspaper is not me," Goodling said. "At heart, I'm a fairly quiet person. I try to do the right thing, and I try to treat people kindly along the way."

And in the very last paragraph of the article
Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., noted Goodling's repeated references to her Christian education. "What is the will of almighty God, our creator, on the legal profession?" he asked.

GOP members groaned and hissed. Goodling said she could not say.

This is absolutely frightening. Our rights to practice religion, especially Christianity, is being directly attacked and being used to discriminate against those who have anything to do with a church or a church-owned university. Here's the rest of the article. Inquiry evolves into 'political theater'

Who wrote this Immigration Bill? The illegals!!!

Remember what I was saying the other day? When I looked at the filthy ANTI-AMERICAN lib CRAT names that supported it for my litmus test, it became a no brainer that I was TOTALLY AGAINST it.
