President Chavez of Venezuela shut down one TV station that is owned by the opposition, and is threatening the other if it doesn't tow the state line. He has also said he will sue CNN because the latter has said Chavez is linked to Al Qa'eda.
And Hitlery says that the "on your own" society--her term for the rugged individualism that made America great, apparently--must be replaced by one based on "shared responsibility and prosperity" (which probably means the same as the quote from the Ukranian peasant just before the fall of the Soviet Union--"we were all equal, in poverty").

Much disappointment here with Daniel Henninger's piece in the WSJ today. His argument is that conservative opponents of the "immigration" bill are forgetting one of their core principles: the free market.
But WORSE is the clip from the WSJ's roundtable last weekend, where Henninger says conservative opponents can't really speak of their real objection: dislike and prejudice against Mexicans...people of color.
And Paul Gigot claims that opponents' arguments are irrational, which is just not true.
