I’d like to report the death of amnesty, which died today of natural causes.

Sounds like Benoit may have been in touch with some wrestling pals and they reported something to WWE. Maybe WWE tipped off local authorities and the chain began?? Or maybe they sat on it? Wierd indeed.

So did WWE know what happened, then just split the scene?
Does this story involve Paris Hilton in any way?

God, just what we don’t need. WWE fans who think they smell a conspiracy! Slurpee sales will skyrocket in the wee hours of the night as they blog, digg and google every angle...

He did it himself, I would assume. There were reports that he was texting messages etc during the time prior to his death.

C'mon! Don't you see anything unusual about a 12:01 AM time stamp? Anything at all?
Wikipedia obviously has time-stamp software issues, like it can't tell time and simply sets the time for all posts in a given day to "12:01 AM". But don't let that get in the way of a good conspiracy theory....

Maybe they will find a tiny minature model of the scene, placed there by the real killer.

The computer was traced to Stamford CT. Chris was just outside Atlanta GA.

Maybe his texts to friends/coworkers in the WWE were more explicit about what had happened than initial reports indicated. A text message suicide note — explicit or implied — could have been what prompted them to call the police. Of course, why someone would then feel compelled to immediately jump onto Wikipedia and post news of his death is hard to fathom.

He did it himself, I would assume. That's not possible if the person editing the Wikipedia page was at a computer in Connecticut, as the FOX News story indicates (the wrestler, his wife and child died in Georgia; not Connecticut).

12:01 a.m. Hmmmmm. If the real killer, whose glove I found by the way, posted the news before the police found the bodies, then she must want to be caught. “Catch me before I bodyslam again”

That is the tin foil hat angle. Stamford, CT is home to WWE. Those going on about the wiki time stamp etc. are not looking at this correctly. IMO

He missed some appointments... WWF people were probably trying to contact him, and, when successful, Benoit told them that his wife had died.
No big deal.

I did think that the 12:01AM time stamp was odd, but why default to 12:01AM and not 12:00AM? My VCR does.

Wikipedia obviously has time-stamp software issues, like it can't tell time and simply sets the time for all posts in a given day to "12:01 AM". That really doesn't make any sense what-so-ever. It would have to be hard-coded that way. I.e. the 1 minute past mid-night part is the problem. This post almost certainly was made 1 miniute past midnight, as Google is stating.
Had the timestamp been "12:00(:00) AM", then one could better make your argument. Because if the value goes in as a date and not a time-stamp, then 12:00:00am is the inherited timestamp for that date value.

12:01 is minute #1 (the first minute that is clearly on a given day) I see it all the time when computers generate time stamps, and there’s something wrong with the program.
