To anyone who cares Metallica are big time troop supporters. Watched a Metallica documentary a few years ago. (Not a big fan - just bored one night.) I doubt Hetfield would support Islamic jihad. The beard is just a fashion statement among heavy metal bands, I think. My brother sports one. :-)
