Well, I'm not sure about sierra or al gore, but peta's WORLD WIDE HQ is about twenty five (25)miles down the James River from Vick's Surry county residence and dog pit. Probably a 40 minute drive in light traffic.

I hate PETA as much as the next FReeper, but to be fair they are speaking out on this incident. They have issued statements condemning what went on at Vick's Virgina property and calling for justice and an end to the practice.

They are nuts sometimes but they are an ally in this issue, if like me you want to see dogfighting stopped in the US and Vick brought to justice.
