Good morning!
A coolish morning here: Global Warming strikes again!
( I really should do better to come up with something more substantial for this space....)
Good morning!
I hope today is a good start to the week for everyone!
Cold or Hot, it's always our fault GW, that is....
Rebellion in the Ranks AQ from Powerline...
The Surge produces results Don Lambro
Jimmy Carter, the Muslims and other catastrophies Burt Prelutsky
Thinking about putting a tin roof on my ‘shack in the back’
and some siding, need a change, probably will kick myself when I make the change but, oh well. I can remember like it was yesterday that we would go to Duck Hill, MS when I was a wee little tot to visit kin (my daddy’s home town) and can assure you, a little place, not one two story place in the town.
It is going to be a busy day for us today, going to the church and do some serious cleaning, ummmm, maybe they will let me supervise.
Be sure and tell JT we said hi, OK? You got your JT and we got our TJ, kinda close huh” AND we look to getting that call from Foster Care about the little 6 week old boy we are suppose to get, shoot, going to have to build a barracks pretty soon but if they call on a child we all know what will happen, yep, the family will grow, we simply can’t just shove a child off to who knows where.
One more cup of coffee, like gas to a car to me, gets me going.

It seems our senator, Russ Feingold, continues embarrass our great state by calling for President Bush to be censored.
Good grief!
FWIW, my fortune cookie yesterday said, “Tomorrow your creative side will shine forth with exceptional ideas.” My kids said, “uh oh.”
Story for ya... A fellow from Tennessee showed up in our campground to camp for the weekend. He asked me, "Ya'all have any bears in the campground?"
I replied, "Not when I'm working."
Saw him before he left and asked, "Did you see any bears?"
He replied, "Nope!"
So I said, "See!" ; )
Early, ain’t it, I meant to say in Duck Hill my kin had a tim roof house and that sound of rain hitting the roof I will never forget.
That referee who is accused of fixing games in the NBA has asked for police protection. He is claiming there have been some death threats against him. Apparently he has had a gambling problem and has been involved in the mob.
Jemian, that's funny. Let us know at the end of the day, just how creative you were!
You missed a good one, should have told him ‘no, but you should put you food stuff up high’.
Kind of like the guy who died and his tombstone said ‘I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK’.
We have a tin roof in my overseas home. Rain on it sounds like pop corn popping. I love it.
Good morning, everyone! Another Monday and loads to do...it's called living to the max, I guess. Every day I try to find something to laugh about...keeping sane, you know...but it takes more looking some days....The dems are debating again tonight, so their posturing offers fertile ground for some belly laughs (or screams).
Good morning to you all. I haven’t gone to bed yet (P.S.T.) been reserving movies mostly BBC shows on our library site. My husband and I went to Kelowna, British Columbia this weekend 8 hr. trip to see our s-i-l’s nephew play rugby against their team. He plays (for the equivilant of our minor league baseball teams) in England. It was very interesting as we had never seen the game played before. He scored twice in the second half, fast runner. We loved this area, lots of orchards, went fruit picking, cherries, raspberries, etc. It has become a big retirement area and tourist place in B.C. They gave us dollar for dollar, yet petrol was $117.9 a liter, I think they go by 4.something a gallon there. Oh, his team is called the Yorkshire terriers, kinda cool because my pet is one, I told nephew in law I wanted his shirt. Hubby says kids can drink at 19 there now. The Lake there is 168 miles long!
oops! meant it as $1.17.9 a liter
We get black bears, but they are pretty skiddish.
