Germaine Greer’s writings about Diana remind me of how she slammed Steve Irwin after he died. Basically, she sounds jealous. She sounds as if she envies people who get attention - as if they are taking it away from her.

She is jealous - and she is also a feminist.
Which means that a beautiful woman like Diana is an easy target.
The fact that she is dead makes her an even more inviting target for this coward.
