How old is Clemens? 60?

Clemens will turn 45 tomorrow (I’m 45 now but I make a bit
less money that he does). Amazing he’s still on the mound or better yet amazing he could trick George into shelling out
$28 million/yr for him. Oh my, oh my goodness gracious as
Suzyn Waldman would say (in her Yankee-gasm upon Roger’s
announcement he’d be returning to the pinstripes).

I saw Mets at Shea Sunday while visiting NYC (a rain-shortened win). I guess the Yanks are still selling some tickets because there was a sign at a Yankees clubhouse shop nr Times Sq.
saying the next few weeks, incl. Boston series, were sold
out. But do they have the over 360+ straight sellouts
Fenway has had?

I did hear of Clemens’ bad performance yesterday—the Yanks
did come back with 8 runs in the next frame to tie it
but still lost ultimately to the fading White Sox.

He’ll be 45 tomorrow.

He’s won 7 Cy Young awards. It may be about time to retire, but he’s accomplished quite a bit more than most of those who boo’ed him.
