Some kind of curse, I think. The Bengals have had only 1 winning season since 1990.

Preseason games are just dumb because everyone's playing too cautious. That's when the injuries start piling up, when players focus more on not getting hurt rather than playing football.
Abolish the preseason (Maybe have the Hall of Fame game stil) The season should be extended to 18 games and give all playoff-bound teams a bye so everyone will be fresh and ready to play.
