TACOMA, Wash. -- A former elementary school teacher has been charged with kidnapping a 10-year-old student and is suspected of raping him multiple times.
Jennifer Rice, 37, was arrested Saturday and booked into the Pierce County Jail for investigation of kidnapping, five counts of first-degree child rape, and four counts of child molestation.
On Monday she pleaded not guilty in Pierce County Superior Court to a charge of kidnapping with sexual motivation, and prosecutors said more charges will follow.
Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum said Rice was working as a contract teacher at McKinley Elementary School earlier this year and the alleged victim was a student in her class.

10 Yrs is WAY too young. She is VERY much guilty, even if she looked like Shakira or Scarlett Johanssen.
Watch for more parents coming forward with their children to make charges against her and to sue the school district.

What the hell is going on with this sudden epidemic of messed up women?
Are all these women abused and repeating abusive behavior, though inexcusable. Or are all these women childless with a misplaced nurturing instinct left unfulfilled that twists into a perverted “love” for these children.
Serious question. Many of these teachers are married, so we know it is not a matter of having a surrogate spouse. But are all these women childless? Is that the link? Is this some perverted outgrowth of women who are dying to be mother but never have children of their own? Anybody know if any of these rapist women have children of their own?
This seems a lot weirder than the LeTourneau case.

My sense is (I may be wrong) there is no mother. It spoke of the father and his reaction. Another reason evil is creeping more and more effectively into the lives of our children is the breakdown of the family.
