Radio sensing stations to track traffic and cargo up and down the I-35 NAFTA Superhighway corridor are being installed by Communist China, operating through a port operator subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa, in conjunction with Lockheed Martin and the North America's SuperCorridor Coalition, Inc.
The idea is that RFID chips placed in containers where manufactured goods are shipped from China will be able to be tracked to the Mexican ports on the Pacific where the containers are unloaded onto Mexican trucks and trains for transportation on the I-35 NAFTA Superhighway to destinations within the United States.
NASCO, a trade association based in Dallas, Texas, has teamed with Lockheed Martin to use RFID tracking technology Lockheed Martin developed for the U.S. Department of Defense's projects in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as at U.S. military stations throughout the world.
China has a central position in applying the RFID technology on I-35, given Hutchinson Port Holdings' 49 percent ownership of Savi Networks, the Lockheed Martin subsidiary that will get the job of placing the sensors all up and down the NAFTA Superhighway.

I saw a piece on the MSM news about a satalite that was launched from our country to watch/locate things/unspecific report in our country.
Also mentioned a couple of more where being sent up for the purpose to use to monitor our own country.
Since the report was so non specific on what our own satalites will be used to scope on us down here one can only guess.
My point being perhaps it will be to track trucks that get off the super highway that are not supposed to. Or something like that.
One could surmise the Chinese will also be able to track where specific shipments are.
hmmm, how could that be used against us????
at first it was thought only the clintons could sell out the US to the chinese....
now jorge bush is making the clintons look sane!!!
“Bush, his father and the Clintons are all buddies.”
Precisely. GOP voters were given a choice between Bush and McCain, Bush and Gore, and then Bush and Kerry, some CHOICE. If we do not nominate a conservative this time around, it will be tough to be optimistic about the future of this country (not that the future looks rosy, right now).
Personally, I want a raving, protectionist patriot with business acumen ... this "conservative" concept has lost it's appeal to me.
This can’t be true, since Dick Cheney dtated there was no such thing as the NAFTA superhighway.
Could the V.P. be wrong?
And Bush is doing all he can to clear the way for the Clintons to return to the Whitehouse in '08.
Bending over anew for Jorge and Hop Sing.
There is a possibility that the definition of conservatism has become a bit muddied, as has the term protectionist. Mostly because of being defined by liberals and “RINO”s (at the risk of being oxymoronic). Most of our “conservative” saviors, running for the GOP nomination are nothing of the kind.
I’m pretty sure that satellite will soon be armed and able to zero in on OnStar vehicles and those with electronic tollbooth passes, GPS navigation, not to mention satellite radio. Why they would target these vehicles, I do not know :-)
Let’s see how many Bush campaign advisors sign on with Hillary and who gives her big campaign bucks that our Bush compadres.
Scares me to think that a Presidential election will be faux if Bush and company have assured Hillbilly the position.
Wonder if anybody will set jammers in the same area?.
“Why does ChiCom cargo have to go to Mexico and then subsequently be hauled south to north across the US in Mexican trucks. Why not bring the cargo into a US port?”
The American ports are unionized and have added costs.
The Mexican ports can use slave labor and do the same job much cheaper. Always follow the money.
Why does this stuff start in Mehhxxico? Why not unload it in the US of A?
Why carry the containers on TRUCKS? Put ‘em on RAILS—it is a lot more efficient, and much easier to track and monitor?
AND—why buy all that stuff from our enemy, China, in the first place??? Why not buy it from somebody NOT cutting our throats?
“now jorge bush is making the clintons look sane!!!”
Yeah Pelosi or Reid would never do something contrary to our interests.
Funny how the Bush haters can’t even spell his name correctly.
“Why not bring the cargo into a US port?”
Because the unions control the US ports and their rates are too high.
There’s been far too much “cozying” up to countries like Communist China and Islamic states like the UAE in the last 15-20 years. What was once referred to as foreign investment is now bordering on collaboration and continuing down this road seems like playing with fire to me !!!
