China is now trying to buy Seagate, the hard drive manufacturer as well. Hopefully it will be blocked, but since they were already allowed to buy the entire IBM PC division, I doubt it.
100% of the notebook PCs on the planet are built in Commy China (~80%), Taiwan (~10%), or S. Korea (~10%). About 75% of the production is for manufactures based in Taiwan with plants in Commy China. Every top-tier brand uses the same small manufacturing base.
