Maybe it's a function of age but seeing a musical act in a stadium is now an excruciating experience that I never want to repeat. The entire experience from parking to sitting in the stands to trying to get out of the parking lot afterwards is awful. Not to mention the noise, noise, noise. Or the smelly hippie-looking kids.
I'd rather go for a walk in the woods with my dog and listen to music on my iPod.

I know this won’t make me popular around here, but I am pullng out all the stops to get tickets to see Springsteen in Philly. They go on sale tomorrow and I am locked and loaded. I don’t give a rip about his politics (trust me, he has many, many fans who are conservative), I just love him and the E Street Band. The new song is great and I have heard from some record company friends that his new album is going to blow people away. I’m a little unhappy about the $98 ticket price though. These guys are loaded and I don’t see why they have to charge so much.

I've never "gotten" Springsteen... I've never been a fan of the "New Jersey Sound" which includes Springsteen and Southside Johnny.

It confirms that scalpers bought a lot of tickets. They’ve eaten tickets before, it could happen here too.
