As much as I love my no-choke 870 stuffed with 8 or so 000’s, I’m every bit as comfy protecting my 160 lb German black and mahogany partner with my 40. Call me crazy.
Agree , one or two outside and other inside.......kill them and intent is established , gloves are off and medieval games begin.
I recently decided that my cheap, no good , unreliable , POS , won’t hurt a flea wearing kevlar MAC-90 house gun that I use to back up the puppy platoon was the best purchase one could make as it is indeed cheap (paid 190$ in late 80’s for it), The 30 caliber round is an established stop the threat round and I have three more in the safe if that one gets taken as evidence should anyone get past said puppy platoon. And if I don’t get it back I am out less than 200$ vs a 1500 to 2500 dollar SOCOM II or SIG / HK variant of house gun !
Replacing the pups would be expensive , emotionally and financially....... yet they have their job and do it well. Rewards are plentiful .
Stay safe !
