Don't feel so bad. I had an '06 Civic coupe that was such a lemon that I traded it in at 7,000 miles. In addition to the mechanical problems, the fit and finish was astonishingly bad. I had owned Hondas before, so I was really surprised and disappointed.
I just bought a 2007 Honda Civic:-)
