Finally, after being missing for the last few years, Google has a Vets Day logo.
Perhaps they do read FR.
I agree with that. And I’m glad they mentioned Veteran’s Day this time.
Thanks Lokibob
Thank you, Google.
Good for Google (finally).
Of course this one is good for the whole English speaking world: Veterans’s Day or Armistice Day is commemorated not just in the US, but in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
There would be no Google today if not for the sacrifices of the vets. No jet airplanes to ferry the two founders around in, no sushi bar in the Google lunchroom and nobody to hand out free gmail addresses to because private e-mail accounts would be forbidden by our German Nazi masters.
Thank You Ron Paul for your six years service to your nation.
And thanks Mitt and Rudy for your frat parties.
Veterans day was changed from Armistice day — changed from celebrating peace to celebrating war.
I agree.
So one of Google’s biases is now scratched...sure is a good start. Perhaps now when we google our favorite home town newspapers we’ll get what we’re looking for (for awhile). A couple Vets day favorites

“Veterans day was changed from Armistice day changed from celebrating peace to celebrating war.”
Pleased to meet you, ‘til now I hadn’t actually met any revisionists...I’m sure you meant:
Veterans day was changed from Armistice day changed from celebrating peace to celebrating the contributions all veterans have made to liberty loving people around the globe. (even YOUR relatives, who you apparently hate).
Yep, my relatives came from Switzerland in 1850’s settling into Wisconsin and when the Civil War broke out, they enlisted. They fought and died to keep this nation together. Swiss are very fierce fighters and very patriotic.
They also know how to remain neutral and mind their own business. Some think we MUST be a world power. I say NO.
But fighting overseas in internal struggles or trying to referee muslim factions??? Not my idea of smart. We always end up with one side hating us.
I concur. Thanks Google, finally. I wonder why every site that had pounced on this issue isn’t jumping up to show when these companies do get it right.
