I wonder why Navy agreed to 'this' bowl game, and I wonder why they did not wait it out for maybe a more well known bowl to get invited to? I mean, who ever heard of the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl?

I know that San Diego has a very large naval community, so maybe that is why, and of course the weather is beautiful. I was just thinking the payout and national exposure might have been better at the more well known bowl?
