Kim Komando has a website with all these programs listed as freeware, and she recommends AVG for viruses, and Spybot for spyware. Look for Komando.com.

I think the answer you are looking for is YES....keep Spysweeper. It is not an anti virus package per se. It is a spyware cleaner and protection suite. This is different from anti virus.

No matter what you wind up using for anti virus, keep the Spysweeper if you have problems with spyware and bots.
