Extremely proud of my beloved Cleveland Browns. Cards are dinged up, and I expect a Browns victory again.

Glad you posted this because I need to get in some trash talking early. It may come as a shock but I'm taking the Cowboys in this, The Game of The Century Part II.
The Peckers are in for a let-down if they cannot stop one Jason Witten. I expect they will focus on the wide outs, and leave Witten free to school the LB's over the middle. I think we will see a better Dallas running game than many are expecting and will help control the clock. On the other side of the ball, Dallas must get pressure on #4 all night even if they don't get to him. This is critical.
Key questions--
*is KGB healthy enough to impact the game?
* Is Woodson able to cover either WR with a bad toe(because that's a tough injury for a CB)?
* Is Anthony Henry back to at least 70%?
* Does Dallas have the personnel to cover when the Peckers go to 4-5 WR sets?
* Which hotshot QB will be able to avoid turnovers?
* Can Dallas run the ball on the GB D, effectively limiting Favre's touches?
* Could this game come down to a rookie kicker in the clutch?
I think the answers to a majority of these questions favor the good guys....so
Cowboys 27
Peckers 23

Second stringer? You are being unnecessarily provocative. Green Bay’s record this year easily disproves that not to mention Favre’s QB rating is higher.
Is he better than Brady or Manning this year? No, but get serious.

I am hoping Packers 27-24. Favre will win in the last drive of the 4th quarter. It is all moot the Pats will win the SB.
To: Resolute Conservative
Not so fast. Did you miss the Eagles-Pats game? I believe either Dallas or GB could match up against the Pats and give them a run for their money. That may have been unthinkable 3 wks ago, not now.

Throwbacks are to be worn, so we’re unofficially told. Heard something about Dallas wearing the blues instead of the whites, but that seems odd.

Pats were coming off a bye week and just had a weak game. Nobody can play up all the time and I rather them play down a bit against a team like the Eagles than a contender. The defense was allowing Westbrook to run ( albeit he is good ) and coverage was lackluster. Brady was on but his boys were dropping more than the usual passes.
The sad thing about that game is Feely will only be remember for the 2 INT in the end and not his good play and McScabb will get his job back as soon as able. IMO McNabb has always been a second tier QB ( Rush was right ).
To: Dysart
Too lazy to search for the article describing how poorly the Eagles actually performed, obscured by the lack of a blowout. But one thing is certain, Belichick will have made the appropriate adjustments and you can bet the "blueprint" can no longer be followed. Also, it was a great wake-up call for the Pats, showing the players their feet were indeed made of clay. Why, it is almost as if Belichick planned it that way!
That said, kudos to Reid and the Eagles for making a game of it and giving me enough cardio to last for a week.

I hope not. We haven't done good wearing those dreadful things. The Cowboys should burn those things at the fifty yard line and NEVER wear anything close to resembling them ever again.
Oh, BTW:

The Packers are to wear the regular road whites, while the Cowboys will don their throwback uniform - white pants, blue jersey with white shoulders, and white helmet.

As per the Dallas Morning Snooze website...

the Boys are wearing their throwbacks.
I'm calling it a very close 5 six-pack game...
The score will be decided by less than a touchdown.
And yes, the bet, if the worse happens...
I have a cheesehat to wear for a week!
But I am looking forward to all them cheesebabes...
going cheesebraless for a week!
Now, once more...
with feeling:
How 'bout...
them Cowboys!

I do wish that the Cowboys would go back to that font used on that jersey. They used it from 1960 to 1981. Wonder why they stopped using it.

I attended SMU in 1977 to earn my MBA, (yup Old Fart!).
One of my classmates was working her way through college as a, GULP!, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. One night she hosted a dinner party at her parent's house in Highland Park. The obligatory tour of her bedroom suite was the highpoint of the evening. We had an opportunity to see her official Cheerleader oil painting! It was full sized!
She was a gracious host and knock out student! We were graduate assistants in the MIS Department and study mates as well. She graduated in the top 10 and accepted an outstanding job with a Financial Management firm.
