"Well that story is a bit light on details" Well, looking at their names, they sound Middle Eastern. Perhaps there is some logic or reason in not releasing their nationalities.

The victims, Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma and Kiran Kumar Allam. International students, must have been from new Zealand from their names.

We’ve produced a generation of criminals, and let some more cross the border, so we shouldn’t be surprised at the consequences.

If they lighten it up a bit more it will be ready for USA Today.

Actually, the "nationalities" line seems silly, on the one hand, as the names are so obviously Hindu Indian. OTOH, of course, their parents could have migrated one or more generations ago to, e.g, UK, Australia(some very strong OZ conservatives have Indian names), South Africa (Gandhi lived there for many years, a century ago), etc.
So, we will just have to wait and see -- although there are lots of native criminals in Louisiana, why prey without regard to "race, creed, or color"

The new favorite to blame in Baton Rouge, is of course, New Orleans transplants, or “Katrina victims”.

Thanks, hope it was an isolated incident and not another Va Tech.

...there are lots of native criminals in Louisiana... There is no shortage of criminals prowling South Baton Rouge looking to prey on LSU students.

Also nearly half of the population of Fiji is of Indian descent.

Well, looking at their names, they sound Middle Eastern. Perhaps there is some logic or reason in not releasing their nationalities. No, they're Indians. Probably chosen because the likelihood of them owning weapons and being able to defend themselves was quite low.
