CNews article date is a typo. Anyway, these photos like these are always a great thread.

Why don't we just go straight to Ron Paul and ask him.

It looks like a Ford Expedition. That explains the rise in temperature on Mars!

To my eye, and with the abesnce of a three dimensional reference, the photos appear to be impact craters. The large one was from an ellipsoidal object and the perimeter is the soil cast out by the impact then wind eroded to produce the radisl lile lines.
The bad part, the really bad part, is that Mars appears to have gone to the Rats and is in the Blue Zone with no explanation of what happened to the comfortable right wing Red.

If there ARE alien artifacts on Mars, they buried under tons of dust.

We ought to send a lander right there. Why NASA doesn’t send landers to some of these arcology sites is a mystery, but maybe they do and just don’t publicize results. But, NASA isn’t the only agency anymore so if something is going on it will come out eventually.

I see a sink hole, not a monolith.
The shadowing on the left side, is a determinant of that fact.
If up is north, then the sun is in the west, hence the large shadow at the bottom of the hole.
Additionally the erosion lines around the sinkhole seem to flow toward the hole indicating that area is lower than it’s surroundings.
Only after reading the article did I notice a “monolith” was implied.
I don’t think so at all.

It's the twenty-sixth holiest site in Islam. The infidels who defiled it by taking pictures of it will die.

Actually, it’s where the Jews first tested their new earthquake machine. That used to be a mosque.
