The pyramid appears to be a divot. The eye cannot discern something that goes in or out easily.

No, if it was a divot it would be covered with a layer of sand. Even shallow craters on Mars have characteristic sand dunes. Additionally, the fact that the sand dunes are disturbed around it (the ones below it are at a right angle to the prevailing flow) indicates that it has disrupted wind patterns. A divot wouldn't disrupt the direction of flow of the sand dunes. Also, most importantly, you can see a shadow being directed down only one side and past the structure.
