charges, including "outraging the modesty" of the woman who shared the lift with him and "fraudulent possession of women's underwear"
Whatta country!

Considering his tastes in underwear, that might be a positive sign.
In mitigation, Tan's lawyer said his client had been badly affected by his parents' divorce during his formative years.
Uh-huh. But he seemed to have been enjoying the scars the folks inflicted on him until he managed to get himself arrested.
This might be the best criminal charge I've ever heard of.
Note to self.....never,*ever* visit Singapore.
(just kidding)
WTF?
No... seriously... WTF??? This is a crime? I could see if they were stolen, but this boggles the mind.
In Southeast Asia — particularily in Thailand, there is a WIDESPREAD phenomenon that is truly baffling...
They have a “species” of individuals called “ladyboys” - who appear 100% as lovely, well dressed, well mannered, delicate featured, flirtatiously sexy and very feminine ladies..
But - they’re not....they have all the lovely female mannerisms and physical attributes — except one.
To heterosexuals - it is a vital “shortcoming”
I’ve had a few business colleagues - even after being warned before travel into the area - discover to their extreme embarrassment that they have indeed invited a “ladyboy” to their hotel room......
Business partners, who happened to be Thai nationals - explained that these “ladyboys” were the primary attraction responsible for a MASSIVE tourist sex trade which draws European, North & South America, African and Asian homosexuals to Thailand...
I wonder if we could charge Hillary with this ?
