4 team playoff If I remember correctly, there are 6 BCS conferences. I would like to see them require all the BCS conferences to have a conference championship the way the SEC and other conferences do. Then you can have the BCS conference champions along with 2 wild card teams and play an 8 team playoff. You would have a true champion and also have the opportunity for Cinderella team to win it.

I would like to see them require all the BCS conferences to have a conference championship the way the SEC and other conferences do. Currently, some of them are prohibbitted from doing so...12 team minimum.

Of course the whole point of the bowl games was originally to give people more of a reason to travel to a winter resort...not to determine champions.
