Wasn’t he the head coach somewhere at one time, and if so, what was his record?

The stock market tumbles, Fred Thompson drops out, Heath Ledger dies, and now this.
Okay, I don't really care about Heath Ledger, but... damn!

Yes, that was in poor taste. It’s terrible when someone dies at age 28. My condolences to his family.
To: The Pack Knight
I am sorry, but you started it. It is very sad since he had a little girl and apparently killed himself. If his little girl wasn’t enough to live, he must have had some demons. Prayers for family.

Thanks. Not real impressive. But, if he can get Jason to read defenses, it could make a real difference. Still need a big, tough running back.

I can only imagine. If you have demons, life in the limelight is sure to bring them out.
This same thing almost happened to Audie Murphy, and if it can get to him.....
To: Perdogg
Oh, and I was actually referring to my own original comment being in poor taste.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons are going into their 4th year of looking for a head football coach, since the sudden departure of Bobby Petrino. So far, there has been 32 candidates that have turned the head coaching job down, according the Falcon’s owner Arthur Blank. Blank went on to say that he has an interview with Tara Jr High Coach Whistlin’ Dixy next month. Coach Dixy is 16-105 as a jr. high head coach. Blank says he think Coach Dixy may be the one to bring the glory back to the Falcons.

He was head coach at NY Giants, before coming to Baltimore as offensive “advisor” for a year. Old friend of Billick’s.
As much as you hate the Ravens, surprised you didn’t know that. :-)

Fassel back in the NFC east, great news for Big Blue, and the 'boys and Eagles.
To: gate2wire
Was Fassel the old friend of Billick’s that Billick let take the rap for the Raven’s miserable offense? As to hating the Ravens, I’m kind of like a lover scorned: I loved them until I realized that they were a highly paid, glorified version of a urban street gang. Once they shed the Ray Lewis chest-pounding, screeching, bellowing, gangsta thug persona, I’ll likely go back to loving them. Until then, Go Pats!

Yes, that’s the guy.
As far as hating the ravens, that was a joke.
I could certainly tell from your posts that it is lewis and his type you have an issue with. I feel the same. I constantly piss off the local fans by calling him the “murderer.” Constant knife jokes. :-)

Thanks for the note; i knew you were kidding — it just gave me a chance to rant about da boyz in da hood again!
As to Fassel, if he really was the one calling the plays for the Ravens during his tenure as offensive coach, I’d say the Redskins are in deep trouble.
