I actually enjoyed the Grammy’s this year for the 2 hours I was tuned in. The shut up an sang for the most part which made it very enjoyable. I could even listen to the RAP without the usual mute.

I guess the only pathetic moment was the Keanye West (sp?) drivel at the mike.

If that was the guy who they tried to cue the music while he was talking about God and his Mama, it was my favorite speech.

I watched them too (just to see the Hairspray album lose to ANOTHER Beatles remake-poo)

But, seeing Tina Turner perform “Proud Mary” with Beyonce was worth EVERY minute I spent wondering who people were. When I’m Tina’s age, I want to move that well. I sure don’t now!

Aretha singing Gospel was positively thrilling. No matter what she was wearing. She was past amazing!!!!!

I enjoyed it, too. They had old and new music and different types of music nicely spaced throughout the show. The production values were great.
