So folks tell me again how sending your child to public school when you have the means to do otherwise is not child abuse???

Uh Oh! Some government school defender will take this very personally and get very whiny!
Oh I know they will, and I know some very great people that work in the public school systems... in fact many parents of children in my kids private school are public school teachers and administrators. They, like me, would never subject their children to the crap they see and deal with first hand on a daily basis in their schools.
Great teachers cannot truly teach in a public school system, the system is designed around beaurocratic process, not education and inspiration. One of the teachers at my child’s school is an incredible teacher, he could easily double his salary by changing to the public schools, and they have tried to steal him away... He has a masters degree, 4 kids, and stays at our school in spite of it simply because as he puts it.... “I’m allowed to teach here. If I went there I’d be doing nothing but paperwork and rubber stamping kids through.”
