farrier Nope. There is no automated way to do this and one size does not fit all. Good farriers will always be in demand. A blacksmith, maybe, but not the farrier.

Very good! There are alot of things that people HAD to do to survive that are still useful skills. I don’t do these things because I have to ... but because I enjoy doing them.

Leatherwork is certainly an art. I watched an old gentleman that I know fashion a saddle last year. Took him weeks and the finished product was fabulous. Something I may never learn to do because of the time involved in learning.

I still have about 400 LPs stacked in milk crates in the closet.
Is it time to put them up on ebay yet?

Think my father used Pitman. I used Gregg. Liked shorthand very much; a sister still uses it.

Putting a needle on a vinyl record I'll have to disagree with this one. I still use my turntable and have no problem finding cartridges and drive belts online.

More of a comment regarding horses than anything.
(And yes, I am a rancher of sorts, and own horses. Prefer pickups.)

I have versions of songs that I simply cannot find in digital format. It's odd.
One example is my original 45 of "Tush" by ZZ Top that I bought way back when. Nothing I've found....whether on the original LP or online for download is exactly the same arrangement.
