I hate to admit it - but I caught the last hour of the Oscars last night.
Other than “Michael Clayton”, I hadn’t seen any of the nominated movies. I would like to see “No Country” but haven’t gotten around to it.
Trust me when I tell you this...Jon Stewart was extraordinarily annoying as the emcee last night. I winced almost every time he opened his mouth.
The only nominated movies I saw were Pirates 3, Ratatouille, Transformers, Across the Universe, and about half of 3:10 to Yuma. The only ones I liked (or paid to see) were Ratatouille and Transformers. Across the Universe is half good and half really trippy... though the Bono and Eddie Izzard cameos were cool.
