Obama is talking issues. He is for national health insurance, changing our foreign policy, attacking the wealthy and industry, pro abortion, probable amnesty in some form.
How can you say he is not talking issues. He is talking and telling us exactly what he believes and what he will do.

Well yes ... and no...
When Mr. Obama speaks, about 90% of what he says are meaningless, feel good platitudes. But you are correct, if you pay attention - and actually capture what he says - he's a solid Red.
Higher taxes,
Greater government control (of everything),
Complete socialization of the health industry ...
I actually haven't heard him come out on his pro-abortion stance. His record speaks louder than words on this one, but I haven't heard him say anything about it.
Incompetence on the Foreign Affairs front (not that he's actually bragged about this one, but it comes out as so).
Against gun ownership (unless you are an 'approved' hunter ... hunting in 'approved places')...
Etc...

But basically I agree with the poster's contention (except for the sociopath diagnosis) - Mr. Obama speaks mostly mush.
I do agree that we should focus on what he does say (or what he has done) - and stop getting distracted with 'smoking', middle names, alleged mohammedness, blathery speaking style, 'messianic' attraction of kool-aid drinkers, his wife's kookiness, and focus and expose his positions:

Communist to the core.
Pro-Abort/Pro-Death
Open Borders (although this is a weak argument since all the candidates left standing are open borders)
Inexperienced
Dangerous comments regarding Foreign Policies
And although some might call it a distraction -- I am still appalled by his 'church' membership, and would broadcast their 'about us' page loud and wide. It is sickening...

I agree with some of what you said. I do not think he is a commie. He is a far left democrat. He is naive about foreign policy. He has suspicious muslim friends including his minister.

He has strengths however and that gives me pause and makes me think he might be hard to beat.
