Okay I will admit that some lighthearted, fun stuff, gossip, etc. is not going to ruin this site. I just worry about it proliferating. If too much of this nonsense is posted, the whole culture of the site can be affected. You know there is an unlimited number of sites to go to look at this stuff. I do not want this site to become a joke like some of the other sites I have seen.
i have been here since 1998, believe me, the fluff will not ruin the site. there have always been gossipy, salacious fun threads on FR. Honestly, can you begrudge us the lighthearted crap when the political news is so bleak?
