My son and daughter’s first names are their own...they’re not out of the ordinary, just unique to the family. Their middle names are the names that honor family.

My son and daughter were named in honor of grandparents. Funny story, my niece supposedly wished to name her newborn after her great-grandmother, but was upset after being edged out by a cousin who had used the name. She had to use her second choice: the street of a MLB stadium. (Addison, Cubs fan) Heaven help us.
