Yes, it was changed by the Roman Catholic Church but it won't change many of the secular activities.

I'm sure it won't stop people from wearing green! :)

Gee it IS a Catholic Saint Day so go figure. Most non-Catholic don’t acknowledge Saints any other day, but this one they will celebrate. Kind of cracks me up. :)
