According to one artilce I read, she has 19 years of service. I'm sure this includes her enlisted time.And she was hooking two years ago, so she presumably had 17 years of service at that time - making her 34 at the absolute youngest when she stopped hooking, but likely close to 40.

Navy Times confirms she is 38 years of age now, which means she was hooking when she was 35 and 36.

According to one artilce I read, she has 19 years of service. I'm sure this includes her enlisted time. Not necessarily. If she was passed over for promotion to commander she could have 19 year in and be forced to retire at 20.
