Well, I don’t know about the lawyer angle, but I do like the lawyer-lawyers-to-death-with-lawyering thing. I do agree with the other posters on here that Monster Cable is outrageously overpriced. I bought a 25-ft HDMI 1.3 cable from MonoPrice.com for about $20-25. The same cable from Monster is about $300.

In the REAL WORLD, the quality of the product is no better than the 5-10 dollar alternative from blue jean or monoprice. As I said before, my comment was to INFORM and help YOU and others who may be buying cables for their new hi-def TV’s and don’t know about this common swindle. Go to monoprice or blue jeans web sites and you will see as I said 5-10 dollar cables, (you get a discount for multiple cables) that are the equivalent or superior to cables that monster charges 100-150 for.
