The very best of good luck to you and yours. Been there done that, and it is no fun!.
Never never ever give up hope; keep looking forward and up, not backward and down.
All will come right in the end, if you keep that open and positive attitude. Best regards, Jimmy

We were in your position about a year ago. I found work first, not a dream job, but with benefits that eased that COBRA burden. My husband has started his own business. Slow going and still scary days, but we are on our feet and you will be too.
There is no poverty that hard work can’t cure. Your family will be in our prayers.

The wife is starting to freak since we can't afford the Cobra payments and we won't have any insurance.I thought you were talking about the Mustang Cobra car. I'm on my first cup of coffee so that explains my confusion.
We went through a few months of no work here, it was scary.
Wishing you luck and saying a prayer for you and your family.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Blessings of Your Word, which brings Comfort and Assurance and Promise. We place Yankee and his family into Your loving hands, thanking You for every provision that meets every need. Greatly are You to be Praised, O God, both now and in the exciting days to come.
Philippians 4:6-7 ~ “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19 ~ “And my God shall supply ALL you need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

"I thought you were talking about the Mustang Cobra car. I'm on my first cup of coffee so that explains my confusion." That's funny, I could never afford a Cobra or for that matter the insurance.
Things have really changed the last five years, I worked in the aircraft industry as did my wife.
The place I worked closed and moved all the work out of state. No transfers allowed.
I landed a job with a manufacturer of consumer products taking a fairly substantial pay cut. Then two years latter the massive layoffs hit where she was so she stayed home with our baby and toddler.
Things got very tight then and have been since.
Funny, we were making about a hundred thousand a year back in 2002. Prior to the layoff last month we were struggling by on less than $40,000.
We never knew how good we had it.
