That’s a lot of money to spend on a pair of shoes for a toddler.......might as well buy the new shoes ahead of time......

Yea well. At $100 a pair I think I’ll just go get another pair of $12 sneakers at Walmart instead.

Whatever happened to just buying the kids’ shoes a size or two bigger than needed and stuffing the toes with some cloth for the week it takes for their feet to grow?

The weird thing is that I’ve got far more shoes than my wife does. She’s distinctly not into shopping. However, mine are all purpose built shoes.
Dress shoes 1 pair everyday wear
Hiking shoes 1 pair
hiking boots 2 pair
extreme cold boots 1 pair
steel toed boots 1 pair
mountain bike shoes 1 pair
road bike shoes 1 pair
old ratty tennis shoes 1 pair
down booties 1 pair-keeps my toes warm when winter camping.

and cost around £48 Almost $100, plus tax. That's about 10 pairs of little sneakers at Wal-mart. Or 50 pairs from the secondhand store, although that's a lot more work.

This would have been great for me when I was a kid.
I now have size 13 EEEEEE (Yes, 6 E!) feet, buying shoes was always a night mare, and still is.
