I have sent them the error report-dozens of times already. It continues to crash.

Somewhere in preferences you can turn off reporting. You might want to reinstall, and when doing so do a custom install, and uncheck to install the crash reporting.

I’m not a techie but if it were my PC I think I would delete all internet cookies and history, then uninstall Firefox, then re-install the latest version of Firefox.....

go to majorgeeks.com and get slimbrouser. (Its free)

I do not have that kind of thing happen with slimbrouser.

I have Firefox also, but prefer slimbrouser.

In that case then something’s gone horribly wrong with your Firefox. It looks like (hard to tell) you have both a Yahoo and Google toolbar, no one I know with either has been problem free. I might start by killing those if you have them. If you’ve added any extensions to FF lately you might try uninstalling those in reverse order. If nothing else export your bookmarks somewhere safe and uninstall Firefox and put it on fresh and new. The error report is annoying but that’s not the actual problem, without the error report you’d still be crashing.
