Hmmm...

Personally, I've been on an Alice Cooper kick for the past year. He's phenomenal in concert, an underrated writer, and "one of us" when it comes to political philosophy.

My personal favorites: anything off Welcome to My Nightmare, Alice Cooper Goes to Hell and the criminally ignored Special Forces.

Other great songs:

I Don't Want to Fall in Love by She Wants Revenge (modern band, new wave vibe)

Taper Jean Girls, Red Morning Light, Molly's Chambers by Kings of Leon (a great new band)

I've also rediscovered Mott the Hoople. All the Young Dudes out-Bowies Bowie.
